Lately we've been spending time in Genentech's beautiful new building 35 in South San Francisco to install a new multi-user touch wall. The lobby display informs employees of news and events from Genentech's "gView" intranet as they pass through the common space, and includes live energy and water usage data from sensors in the building. The system is composed of five 55" screens surrounded by an infrared overlay, and is just one of seven deployments we'll be doing on campus over the coming months.
